Mongolian master throat singer and traditional musician Baatarsuren Chadraabal and Dutch throat singer Rowan Hartsuiker are delighted to join ART2B Festival 2026 with both a concert and an interactive workshop.
During their concert, audiences will experience the ancient sounds of Mongolia through khöömii (throat singing), morin khuur (horsehead fiddle), tovshuur (2-stringed lute), Altai Yatga (Mongolian Harp), and powerful traditional Mongolian songs.
For those who wish to explore these traditions more deeply, Baatarsuren and Rowan will also lead an accessible workshop introducing the fundamentals of Mongolian throat singing and the basics of playing the morin khuur, Mongolia’s iconic horsehead fiddle. No previous musical experience is required: everyone is welcome to join and discover this remarkable musical heritage together.
